August 2024 Newsletter

Hello Hidden Oasis subscribers! Welcome to our monthly newsletter. As promised in my initial communications, we plan to publish this newsletter just once per month to keep you all in the loop on the goings-on in White Oak Landing.

Enjoy!

8 Full-Hookup Sites to Choose From

All 8 sites are full hookup (30/50amp electric, water, sewer and wifi). They are plenty big (30' x 70') and can fit any size RV/motorhome or tiny home along with your tow vehicle or even a boat.

First up, our long awaited wooded sites are finally finished and ready for use. These 4 sites have full hookups (30/50amp electric, water, sewer and wifi) and offer a serene, quiet place to call home for a month, a season or however long you wish to stay. Perfect for an RV or even your tiny home.

Our other 4 sites provide water access right from your site for your boat, kayak, paddle board or even swimming. The cove is a quiet 4-mile cove with access out onto Kentucky Lake.

We are actively looking for daily, weekly or even monthly guests for these sites. Discount rates are available for weekly or monthly stays. Please give us a call so we can discuss your needs.

Tennessee Summer Continues...

It's been quite the summer in Tennessee with temps in 90s and hot, sticky days. What better way to cool off but to hop into the water right by your campsite or from your boat.

Come visit our very own Firehouse Grill located right in White Oak Landing...

The grill is typically open weekends during the summer. Great food!

Our Summer Travels of 2024 continue...

This month we spent time in British Columbia and Alberta Canada. If you've never been, I would highly recommend adding this location to your bucket list. Pictures below are from Peyto Lake off the Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park.

Ever seen water so blue! Fun fact, the color comes from glacial "flour" created by the glaciers grinding over rock. The resulting silt flows into the lakes. The flour floats in the lake and absorbs most of the sun's rays except for the blue and green colors causing the breath-taking blue/green color of the lakes.

Pictures just don't do it justice.

Till next month, keep on camping!
