As the days grow shorter and the air turns crisp, we’re reflecting on what a wonderful fall we’ve had so far. It's been an incredible season, and as we start thinking ahead to the holidays, we’re grateful for the time spent here and on the road.
While the campground is full for long-term stays, we’re still welcoming guests for weekend getaways—perfect for a quiet retreat before the holiday rush. We hope to see you soon, whether you're booking a quick weekend or just stopping by to say hello.

🌿 What’s New at Hidden Oasis
It’s been a busy fall here at the campground, and we’re officially full for long-term guests through the winter! We’re grateful to everyone who made Hidden Oasis their home base this season.
If you’re still hoping to visit before the holidays, there are a few short-term spots open for weekend stays. Fall camping along the Tennessee River is peaceful this time of year—cool mornings, quiet nights, and plenty of room to unwind.

🎉 Local Events & Attractions
One of the best parts about camping with us is having great events and attractions just a short drive away. Here are a few highlights for this fall:
🎠 Clifton Fall Festival – November 8, 2025
Mark your calendar for one of Clifton’s favorite annual events! The Clifton Fall Festival brings together local artisans, live music, food vendors, and small-town Tennessee charm — all right in the heart of downtown Clifton.
It’s the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon: stroll through craft booths, enjoy local eats, and listen to live music just steps from the river.

🎁 University School of Jackson Holiday Mart – November 21–23, 2025
Get a head start on holiday shopping at the USJ Holiday Mart in Jackson, TN. Featuring 100+ vendors, artisan gifts, seasonal décor and a festive atmosphere, this three-day event is perfect for families and friends looking for unique finds.

🎟 General admission tickets usually around $10–$12.

🚐 Behind the Scenes: Our Maiden Voyage
This fall, we took our “new-to-us” Thor Miramar motorcoach out for its maiden voyage — a much-needed break after a busy season at Hidden Oasis. We hit the road through northern Florida and Alabama, staying at a few beautiful state parks along the way.
There’s something special about those first mornings in a new motorcoach — coffee in hand, quiet campground, and the sound of the trees waking up around you. Each stop reminded us why we love this lifestyle so much — the freedom to explore, meet new people, and bring those experiences back home to share with our guests.

🏕️ Pre-Holiday Getaways
If you’re looking for a quiet escape before the holiday rush, November and December are some of the most peaceful months along the Tennessee River. Cool, crisp mornings and clear night skies make it the perfect time for a cozy campfire and a weekend to recharge.
Even though our long-term sites are full, we still have a few short-stay openings for November and early December. Whether you’re passing through or just need a quick reset, Hidden Oasis is the ideal spot to slow down for a couple of days.
