Meet the Owners On-Site & Community Gathering
We’re excited to announce that we will be camping ourselves at Hidden Oasis from Sunday, August 17 through Saturday, August 23. Look for us evenings between 5 PM-8 PM by the cove sites to chat with campers and share stories.
On Friday, August 22, 2025, join us and fellow neighbors at the Community Pavilion & Firepit (just down the street from our waterfront sites). We’ll have s’mores supplies on hand—and maybe more—so bring your favorite camp chair and your best stories. More details to follow. Come meet the neighbors of this wonderful community.
Featured Attraction: The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee
Who would have thought there'd be an elephant sanctuary in TN?
Just 45 minutes northeast of Hidden Oasis lies the nation’s largest natural-habitat refuge for retired zoo and circus elephants. Founded in 1995 on 2,700 acres, it offers lifetime care. The habitats themselves are closed to the public; however, visitors can explore the Elephant Discovery Center in downtown Hohenwald.
