Hello from Hidden Oasis!
As we wrap up another year, we’re settling in for the winter and enjoying some much-needed time with our four grandkids. It’s our quiet season, a chance to catch our breath, slow down a little, and soak in these family moments before campground life picks back up again in the spring.
Since we’ll be hunkered down in Florida for the next few months, this will be our final newsletter of the year. We’ll be back in early spring with fresh updates, new stories, and plenty to share as the new season gets underway at Hidden Oasis.
Wishing you a warm, peaceful, and happy holiday season — wherever your travels take you.
– Josee & Tony
🌿 What’s New at Hidden Oasis
As we close out the year, things have officially quieted down at the campground. All of our long-term sites are full for the winter, and Hidden Oasis is settled into its peaceful off-season rhythm.
We won’t be making any major changes during the colder months, but we’re already thinking ahead to spring — fresh cleanup, small site touch-ups, and getting everything ready to welcome guests back as the weather warms.
If you’re planning a short visit this winter, we do still have limited short-stay availability depending on weather and river conditions.

🛍️ Local Spotlight: Linden’s Antique District

Just a short drive from Hidden Oasis sits Linden, a quiet Perry County town with a downtown full of history and charm. What locals affectionately call Linden’s Antique District has become a favorite stop for visitors who enjoy browsing for one-of-a-kind finds and spending an easygoing afternoon in small-town Tennessee.
Once a 19th-century trading hub, Linden has restored much of its brick downtown, creating a walkable stretch of antique shops and locally owned businesses. Stores like Antique Market on Linden and Yesterday’s Treasures feature everything from vintage furniture and glassware to handmade crafts and décor.
Many travelers pair their treasure hunt with lunch at a local café or a stroll along the nearby Buffalo River — the perfect way to enjoy a slow-paced day before heading back to the campground.
Whether you’re a collector, a window-shopper, or simply someone who appreciates places with a story, Linden’s Antique District is a memorable side trip during your stay at Hidden Oasis.
❤️ Behind the Scenes: Winter at Our Home Base
While Hidden Oasis settles into its quiet season, we’re spending the winter at our home base in Florida — enjoying time with our kids and four grandkids and taking a breather

before things pick up again in the spring. This slower stretch gives us space to handle the behind-the-scenes planning that keeps the campground running smoothly. We use these months to map out small site improvements, review what worked well this past season, and get everything ready for your return once the weather warms.
Winter is also when we start thinking ahead to our summer travel time. Exploring new places in our motorcoach always leaves us inspired — and we love bringing that sense of adventure and simplicity back to Hidden Oasis.
We’re grateful for everyone who visited this year and for all the connections we’ve made along the way. Enjoy the season ahead, and we look forward to seeing you again in 2026.
🌅 Looking Ahead to 2026
As we settle into winter and enjoy our family time in Florida, we’re already thinking ahead to the spring season at Hidden Oasis. Once the weather starts to warm, we’ll head back to Tennessee to freshen up the sites, tidy the grounds, and get everything ready for another great year along the river.
We’re excited for the quieter mornings, the first campfires of spring, and welcoming returning guests as well as new faces. You’ll see the newsletter return in early 2026 with updates, opening-week details, and a look at what’s ahead for the season.
Until then, we hope you enjoy a peaceful winter and a joyful holiday season.
